Gnomon Workshop

The CIA Library offers access to Gnomon Workshop for current CIA students, faculty, and staff.

This guide reviews how to register for an account and how to access Gnomon Workshop.

Register for an account

Access to Gnomon Workshop is limited to current CIA students, faculty, and staff. When you register, your status at CIA must be verified by the library staff before your account is activated. Because this resource requires that level of approval, access is not immediate. Please plan ahead if you have an assignment requiring use of this resource.

To register for an account, go to https://cia.thegnomonworkshop.com/

Please note that this is a special URL for CIA users. Make sure that you are registering at the CIA Gnomon Workshop site.

Once you are at the correct site, click the blue REGISTER button at the top right.

Complete the form, using your CIA email address and click the "Request Registration."

This will trigger an email to the library staff who will verify that you are a current CIA student, faculty, or staff member and then approve your registration. This process requires you to plan ahead as the library staff does not maintain 24 hour access to emails. Your account will be verified as soon as possible.

You will receive an email at your CIA email address when your account is approved.
